- Identify cybersecurity risks to your business & supply chain by combining automated and questionnaire-based assessments
Main service(s)
Ceeyu offers a SaaS platform that identifies IT and network vulnerabilities for your company and your supply chain.
The Ceeyu SaaS platform performs continuous and automated scans and risk analysis of the digital footprint of companies (aka Attack Surface Management or ASM) and their suppliers or partners (aka Third-Party Risk Management or TPRM, a NIS2 requirement).
The automated scans are done “outside-in” using passive and, optionally, active scanning techniques like the ones hackers use to identify weaknesses in their target’s networks. The automated tests can be complemented with a penetration test.
Because not all (supplier) security risks can be identified in an automated manner, Ceeyu also offers the possibility to carry out questionnaire-based audits. This can be done by creating questionnaires tailored to the supplier, from a white sheet or starting from templates that Ceeyu makes available. The completion of the questionnaire by the supplier and the follow-up of the process by the customer is done in a secure environment on the same SaaS platform. This enables a simple, central follow-up, entirely online and without the intervention of third parties. The closed platform guarantees the confidentiality of the survey, since only authorised persons have access to the application.
Ceeyu targets customers mid to large enterprises and governmental institutions who are subject to NIS2/DORA regulation and/or attach importance to cybercrime prevention. Ceeyu serves the SME market through a network of value-added resellers and MSPs.
Differentiators
Focus on Usability
Ceeyu's platform has been developed with an emphasis on user experience (UX). Rather than being aimed exclusively at security specialists, the platform is designed to be accessible to a wider range of users within IT or compliance teams. This feature makes Ceeyu particularly attractive to organisations that have no dedicated security teams, or are faced with overburdened security resources.
A European platform
Ceeyu is an EU company and platform. Data is hosted in the EU and therefore protected by European legislation. The platform itself is developed within the EU.
Affordable
First, the Ceeyu platform saves the precious time of scarce and overburdened IT and compliance personnel through extensive automation. Moreover, Ceeyu has strategically chosen to integrate fundamental automated security scans while avoiding the often unnecessary whistles and bells in high-end platforms. This not only results in a simpler and better user experience, but also contributes to a more affordable pricing.
A broader services portfolio
As described above, Ceeyu seeks to provide a broader service than competing products, as Ceeyu offers not only the SaaS platform, but also adjacent professional services in security consulting and administrative support for TPRM programs. This plays well to customers who lack the resources and/or competencies to support their IT and compliance teams. This responds well to clients who lack the required resources and/or competencies in their IT and compliance teams.
Future plans
In 2023, Ceeyu focused on aligning its platform with the needs and requirements of its key customers and prospects. This was done successfully, as Ceeyu doubled its customer base.
Starting in 2024, Ceeyu plans to scale up growth both nationally and internationally. On the product side, Ceeyu is working on making the platform available in key EU languages and integrating AI to help suppliers answer reviews more efficiently.
Company history
Ceeyu was officially founded in 2020 by Jimmy Pommerenke, but the idea had been actively developed since 2018.
From its inception in 2020, Ceeyu was commercially available and the first customers were onboarded.
In 2022 Ceeyu closed its €750k seed round, investors included PMV, the Brussels Seeder Fund and several angels. In the same year, Ceeyu rolled out its first "full" version and began to scale and iterate.
In late 2022, Dries Plasman joined the team as CMO.
In 2023, Ceeyu doubled its customer base and revenue.
